Processor optimised for multitasking

The 12th generation Intel Core processors provide the power you need for office work and content creation. Using a new hybrid architecture, high-performance cores handle single- or light-threaded workloads, while multithreaded tasks go to high-performance cores optimised for such work. While you focus on multitasking, Intel Thread Director selects the best cores for each task.

A display that delivers - in style

Enjoy a bright, clear image on the 13.3" WQXGA Dolby Vision display with 400 nits of brightness. Both the touch and non-touch versions are TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified for low blue light emissions, 100% sRGB colour gamut reproduction and automatic adaptation to the current ambient light. In addition, the 16:10 aspect ratio is slightly higher than traditional models (16:9), so you get extra creative space and see more lines in your spreadsheet.

Sensors and software for greater safety

A variety of sensors and software are always ready to help. The standard infrared (IR) camera allows you to log in using your face, and when you move away from the device the presence sensor can log you out. Mirametrix's Glance technology will alert you if someone looks over your shoulder at the screen. In addition, Lenovo Smart Appearance uses artificial intelligence to enhance image effects during video conferencing, and Smart Resolution will automatically increase video resolution.

Small on the outside, big on the inside

Compared to previous ThinkBook 13x laptop models, the Gen 2 device has a taller screen and wider keyboard in the same compact form factor. The 16:10 display has exceptionally narrow bezels - the screen-to-case ratio exceeds 91% - and definitely dominates the frame when the top lid is opened. In addition, the keyboard extends almost edge-to-edge, providing larger keys and the feel of typing on a larger laptop.

Not only does the ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 provide plenty of power in a small form factor, but its design is something to behold. The two-tone Storm Grey top cover comes to the fore. It has been made from CNC aluminium providing extra durability while keeping the unit so light you can lift it with the fingers of one hand. In addition, the illuminated keys and other features give the device a premium look and feel.

Upgrade to Windows 11

Another update to the ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 is the choice of Windows 11 Pro operating system. The centred Start menu is more visible and easier to use. Voice and command typing capabilities are also improved, and integration with Microsoft Teams has been enhanced. There is also a new feature: Snap Groups, which allow related applications and layouts to be grouped together on-screen with easy one-click access.
